Well this is super exciting.
The beautiful Kingfisher Studios and Gallery in Kiddington now stock my jewellery.
A light and airy multi functional teaching and gallery space that sits on the A44 frontage of the Kiddington Estate on the outskirts of Woodstock in Oxfordshire.
The studio is home to Jessica Parker BA (Hons) mixed media artist. Jessica describes her work as “abstract realism” with a strong emphasis on the environment and mans relationship with it. Her work often features derelict and abandoned buildings or structures. She uses discarded materials and art work to emphasise her reuse/recycle/re-purpose mindset.
My own environmental ethos sits well within the Kingfisher Studios and Gallery. My inspiration for my Jewellery is from the natural world, the landscapes and textures in nature. I create each piece with thought and consideration using recycled materials. My displays and packaging are made from natural materials and eco-friendly.
In this multi functional space you can also attend classes and workshops to get creative. These include Pencil work classes, Drawing, Mixed media, Clay, Dried flowers, Jewellery, Lino, Block printing, Paper cutting, Oil, Watercolour, Acrylics, Candles and Stained glass.
I have booked onto a couple of the classes which include Mixed Media and Watercolour starting in September so I will update my experience and results here.
